Drawin' Drawin' All Day Long~

Hi babes! I just wanted to quickly share what I've been up to recently! I've been drawing a lot and actually coloring and finishing things *u* I usually just fill up my sketchbook with pen doodles so having three finished colored drawings in about a week or two is pretty impressive for me ;u;! I've been thinking about summer a whole lot since I have some really awesome plans for it this year, so that's more or less the theme of everything uwu! come on summer!

Hello!☆Sewing, Outfits, and Art!

Hey babes!

I hope all of you are doing well ;u;! Recently I had to take some time off from school due to illness, but I'm feeling much better now ;w;! I basically spent a whole week at home trying to find ways to entertain myself , thank goodness my hobbies are pretty low energy! I spent a lot of time drawing and sewing and watching entire seasons of TV shows (Project Runway anyone? ;v;? Liar Game?) but I've got some neat stuff to show for it!

The two things I made for myself last week were this bralett

And this skirt!

I made it to match this dotted bralett I made recently ;u;. I ended up going through my messy cabinet of fabrics and finding just enough black jersey for a skirt like this so I was excited to make it!

A lot of the stuff I've been drawing lately but I'll go ahead and share it now anyways ~

Background says "Spending All My Time" since I drew this while the song by Perfume was running through my head all day ~v~

Creamy Mami! I watercolored this, but I don't have it scanned yet so just have the linework! haha

The other night I couldn't fall asleep at all so I decided to try out digital art again! I'm such a traditional media kind of girl, so this was a nice somewhat frustrating distraction from not being able to sleep ahahaha!

Since I went back to school this week, I wanted to try and challenge myself to see if I could wear only clothes I've made for myself all week! It ended up being a 4 day week with Friday off, so there are only four outfits, but I totally could have pulled more together with other stuff ;w;. I'm pretty happy that I've made enough stuff for myself over the past few years that I'm able to easily put outfits together uwu

I actually just went and picked up some more fabric in order to start on a Saint Tail cosplay! I'm super excited about sewing and cosplaying lately, so I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when I'm done with that ;v;!

And as an extra, in all my boundless amounts of free time recently, I finally got around to finishing Neon Genesis Evangelion! I really liked it and oh my gosh is the theme song catchy or what? I did a song cover of the TV size version of it for fun!

Long Time No See Sweeties!

Soooo~ sorry about that super long delay! Even now, I can't guarantee when my next post will be, But I wanted to at least apologize and share a little bit! The only problem is that even now, I'm still super busy! So busy, but I took some time to make you short video instead of typing everything out! So sorry my sweetie babes, but I'm hoping to devote full attention to you soon~

Hi cuties! I've just had a really normal week at school so not much exciting lately hehehe~! First off I'll share the one outfit shot I took ahaha

this is from 8-14-12 ~ everything is thrifted, except the skirt is from H&M and the tights are from welovecolors~ 

Not sure why this was the only picture I took! I've gotta get back in the habit of taking more outfit shots hehee

Anyways though, lately I've been so inspired to start painting! I draw a lot, but usually its just sketches for fun and to pass the time, whereas now suddenly I've been totally hit with the want to actually improve in coloring and lineart and produce actual art! I'm regretting it never hit me earlier, but I think I'll probably be keeping it up for sure! I've been taking progress pictures and stuff so I'll share with you what I've got since last week u v u~

This is a cutie I did for Candy~! I drew the sketch sometime last year and decided that she would be fun to paint maybe monday~? Colored with watercolors and white acrylic accents ;u;~

Oddly enough, when I was going to school the next morning ,this is what the sky looked like! It was so pretty I had to snap a picture, but only later realized that the colors are the same as what I had painted the night before! Prophetic painting skills? ahahaha~

I also did Creamy Mami as a practice~ This was before I started inking her u v u

And everything I've been up to lately! I thought all my things looked so cute out on my bed like this ahaha! My room doesn't have enough space for a desk, so my bed is both where I sleep and where I work, unless I can fit everything on my Creamy Mami Table.

Together~ I'll probably draw a lot more cuties and every now and again share them all with you! there are obvious flaws in all of these (at least I think they're obvious u v u) but I'm starting to really like where my style is going and since I'm practicing as often as possible I know I'll improve ;v;!

Also, I want to share that I recently made a Pinterest (I know I know, you guys can laugh at me for it) and its really such a great way to keep your inspirations organized! Tumblr is cool, but its its hard to find specific things you're looking for. So yeah, if anyone else even uses pinterest let me know~ I'd love to see more sweet images on there!

School days☆cool days! Art too~

Hello everyone~! I'm definitely going to try and keep a weekly post instead of every thee days, sorry about that ;u;! since school started last Monday, It's been really hard to readjust and get used to it all! I'm still in summer mode ahahaha~ Anyways, the Sunday before school started, the wonderful Jesse  came up to hang out one more time before heading off to college ;v;~ it was a totally fun day and though I'm still bad about taking pictures of ~everything~ I did take quite a few ;v;!

My outfit for the day! I think everything is thrifted or handmade, but the tights are from Sweetiecakes

I actually wore makeup too ;v;!

We met up and went to eat pho, and afterwards headed over to Super H-mart to pick up some snack and do some light shopping ~ v~! A bunch of people came, since it was a meetup, but by the time we left H-mart we were all split up into little groups hahaha! I ended up hanging out with Jesse of course, My friends Katie and Raven, and Caylee! I'm really glad I got to spend a good bit of time with Caylee again, though somehow I only have her shoe shot!

They have this sweet reflective surface that I've been trying to take decent pictures in forever! I think this one turned out alright u v u~ Katie, me and Jesse ;v;!

And a picture with Jesse ;v;!! I'll miss him so much since hes moving waaaaaaay further away u A u! But it was great to hang out and have so much fun before summer ended!

The first week of school ended up being pretty stressful! It took 4 whole days for them to sort out my schedule so that I would have the classes I signed up for u A u!! But everything is worked out now, and I'm ready to enjoy a super lazy senior year! To distress from all that school junk, I decided I should try and draw something~

This one I started today in school hehehe! I have a really sweet and lazy schedule and lots of time to work on whatever I want, thankfully! But I'm not sure how I'll color it yet ;v;! 

Mostly I need to work on keeping my lines a little smoother though, but It's nice that I'm finally in the mood to practice it!

Craft time~! Majokko☆Bag!

Hey everyone~! I've been excited about this post for a while~! I meant to do this over the weekend so that I could make a post by Sunday afternoon, but my weekend turned out to be pretty busy, so I didn't get to finish this until earlier today! So what is it I'm talking about anyways? It's actually a school project, believe it or not! I take a Fashion Marketing class at school, and our most recent project is to design a tote bag! there are other more school-y parts to the assignment, but all I really wanted to show you was the finished tote bag ;v;!

Ta da~! This is the front~ the "Majoko" Text means Magical Girl in Japanese ;u;. I decided to romanize it because I like the look better~. I originally wanted to put two K's in, since I'm pretty sure that's more correct, but I just didn't have enough room for it. I'm still okay with just one K there anyways, since I think it looks cool haha.

and the back~! Whenever I draw out 'Millions of Bows' it ends up looking pretty much like that~

Since I really don't do a whole lot of painting or coloring (traditional or digital haha) in general, this is a little bit rough around the edges, but I'm still proud of it ;u;! So here are a few close ups~

The eyes were so fun to do! I absolutely love putting planets and stars inside of eyes ;u;

☆30 Day Fairy Kei Challenge! Days 14-18 & Art Post!☆

Hey, everyone! I'm sorry about the weird posting schedule lately! School and other things have been pretty intense lately, and I haven't had much time for blogging at all ;A;! I don't want to leave this blog totally bare, though, so have four more days of the 30 day fairy kei challenge!

☆ Day fourteen: Do you have any hobbies that you could consider Fairy-Kei’?

I suppose fair kei hobbies would include collecting old cute 80s things or crafting? If that's so then, sure! I'm not an avid collector, sadly, so even though I claim a lot of "collections" it's usually not more than five items per "collection" of mine hahaha. I collect Care Bears and Unicorns! I would love to start collecting 80s magical girl items as well~!

I also craft, draw, and sew and love diy in general, though I'm usually either too busy or lazy to do a lot of it haha!

☆ Day fiveteen: Something you or a friend made themselves

 

I didn't make this, My friend Jesse did, but it's so perfect and cute! I love it a lot, so I wanted to share it here! I haven't done a whole lot of crafting at all lately, aside from the objects in my shop, so I don't have much of anything new to share ;u;

☆ Day sixteen: How did you dress before Fairy-Kei?

I used to dress in lolita, and other than that usually circus-inspired style!  I mostly wore combos of Black, white and pink.

I think this was the outfit I wore to see  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1! I could be wrong though hahaha.

This is a petty old circus-centric outfit! you can tell especially because my walls were still beige haha. It's from January 16th, 2010! I'm pretty sure this was an outfit for school, but I'm not sure haha.

☆ Day seventeen: Do you dress in also another style, e.g. Lolita.

Not so much anymore! I still like to look at lolita and see it on others, but It's not really a part of my fashion zone anymore, so I've decided to more or less stop wearing it all together. 

I do dress in uchuu kei whenever it suits me, though (And I swear I am working that blog post! It's just pretty hard to put together information and references for a style that doesn't really exist haha.)! My wardrobe for that is still super limited, and because of my schedule lately I haven't been able to make a whole lot of things to match the outer space aesthetic~

☆ Day eighteen: How do you dress when you go to school?

Most of my outfit shots that I have are probably from going to school! That's where I go the most often, and I don't see a big point in having a fairy kei wardrobe and a wardrobe of "school clothes", so I just wear fairy kei or uchuu kei or whatever! Art Post! Uchuu☆G!rl!

Hey everyone! I hope your all having great days ;u;! This is just a small post to share a bit of art with you~!

I doodled this in school yesterday and decided to de-stress a bit from all of the studying lately by coloring it today ;v;. Lately I've been turning around the idea of 'uchuu kei', as in space alien (uchuujin, shorted to just uchuu for 'space) style. Basically it's just my idea of what cute fairy kei aliens and space travelers would wear. It's extremely unrealistic and silly, but I like saying it and basing drawings around it lately ;v;! Let me know what you think~
