Babesquad☆Summer☆Fun

Hey, babes! Last Saturday, I met up with Jesse, Caylee, Kane, Raven, and Alisha at SunO to catch up and hang out with everyone ;u;! Last summer, we spent time there regularly, but strangely enough, It was the first time this summer I went. It's always sooo great to hang out with friends, especially Jesse and Caylee, since they live pretty far away u~u! The best thing about meeting up at SunO is that there's a lot of yummy food in the H-mart plaza and a few really cute places to shop for stationary and asian cosmetics so we really had a lot of fun walking and shopping around.

First, my outfit!

We met up at SunO, which was running this awesome 2 Strawberry Sunos for 1 deal! So we all pitched in a dollar or two to grab some! it's cheap stuff, just around $7 for a huuuuge cup of delicious shaved ice and sweet fruits, so two for that much was a killer deal! 

This is the only shot I got of everyone somehow! Raven, Alisha, Kane, Jesse, and Caylee! We were all walkin' to the Ramen restaurant just a little ways away ;w;

We went to get ramen next! Except, Kane's the only one who got it. I really regret getting the udon u^u! The ramens the best thing on the menu for sure, and its even priced the same.

I did get takoyaki though! Too yummy ;u;! My udon was so mediocre though! I'm still really sad about it.

For dessert we picked up some chocolate filled taiyaki from super H-mart, and then went into the cute korean bakery and coffeehouse next door to sit and snack ;w;

That was our last stop for the day ;v;! After sitting and snacking, we all went on our ways home. It was a really fun day full of yummy food and company. I'm a little sad it was one of the only times I got to see everyone this summer though! It's always so fun being around friends that it makes me sad that we don't all get to hang out as often.

Don't Worry ☆ Be Happy!

Hey babes! Last week was my spring break, and wow it was seriously wonderful! I went with my family down to Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast! I was really looking forward to hanging around by the beach for the whole week and being overall lazy and relaxed. It was basically heavenly! The condo that we stayed in was right on the beach and had a stellar view from the patio *w*

My and my mom went out to chillin' the beach every morning for an hour or two ;v;. The water was really really cold so we mostly didn't swim! I got in once though, just because I felt like it would have been a shame not to ;v;

This was the first day I had to get dressed ;u;. I should have taken a picture without the cardigan on though, oops! I biked 5 miles to this cute little town, Seaside, in order to meet up with a friend of mine who lives there ;u;! I also got some mango and strawberry gelato~

the strawberry is on the bottom but the colors were the same as my nails ehehe! Really yummy uwu

I also found these Jem and the Hologram cup koozies in the record store there!

I bought the logo one!

this whole outfit is made by me ;v;! I took another 5 mile bike ride with my little brother to meet with my childhood friend! We met with some of his friends and ended up going to see Spring Breakers that night. Totally not a movie I thought I would enjoy, but I ended up liking it!

We went to Destin, FL for the day to go on a sunset boat ride! It was so much fun ;w; we saw a lot of dolphins too, which is always a really exciting thing *u*! It was super cold though! I dont know how everyone on the boat was comfortable in short sleeves and stuff, I ended up wrapping up in two jackets ahahaha.

I didn't take any pictures while i was on the boat though ;u; sorry!

Another bike ride! It was so ridiculously windy this day! my skirt kept flying all over the place! I was wearing shorts but imagine how distracting that bike ride was ahaha. We also went to see The Croods that night! what an adorable movie *v*

I ended up wearing my bathingsuit and this american Apparel dress my sweet babe Jesse (Definitely check out his new blog!!) got for me ;u;! I went thrifting and then lunching wit my mom before spending the evening on the beach ;u;! The perfect last day of the trip.

I found this killer t-shirt in the childrens section! It fits me perfectly as a crop top I'm soo excited to wear it *v*!

This was our last day! we went out to the beach in the morning and then packed into the car u v u. It's nice to be home but I seriously miss being by the ocean!

I had such a wonderful spring break! for once I'm not dreading going back to school either. I feel refreshed and ready to take on anything! Going to the beach usually does that for me ;u;!

Hello!☆Sewing, Outfits, and Art!

Hey babes!

I hope all of you are doing well ;u;! Recently I had to take some time off from school due to illness, but I'm feeling much better now ;w;! I basically spent a whole week at home trying to find ways to entertain myself , thank goodness my hobbies are pretty low energy! I spent a lot of time drawing and sewing and watching entire seasons of TV shows (Project Runway anyone? ;v;? Liar Game?) but I've got some neat stuff to show for it!

The two things I made for myself last week were this bralett

And this skirt!

I made it to match this dotted bralett I made recently ;u;. I ended up going through my messy cabinet of fabrics and finding just enough black jersey for a skirt like this so I was excited to make it!

A lot of the stuff I've been drawing lately but I'll go ahead and share it now anyways ~

Creamy Mami! I watercolored this, but I don't have it scanned yet so just have the linework! haha

The other night I couldn't fall asleep at all so I decided to try out digital art again! I'm such a traditional media kind of girl, so this was a nice somewhat frustrating distraction from not being able to sleep ahahaha!

Since I went back to school this week, I wanted to try and challenge myself to see if I could wear only clothes I've made for myself all week! It ended up being a 4 day week with Friday off, so there are only four outfits, but I totally could have pulled more together with other stuff ;w;. I'm pretty happy that I've made enough stuff for myself over the past few years that I'm able to easily put outfits together uwu

I actually just went and picked up some more fabric in order to start on a Saint Tail cosplay! I'm super excited about sewing and cosplaying lately, so I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when I'm done with that ;v;!

And as an extra, in all my boundless amounts of free time recently, I finally got around to finishing Neon Genesis Evangelion! I really liked it and oh my gosh is the theme song catchy or what? I did a song cover of the TV size version of it for fun!

Really long time no see!! I missed you all and I'm back for good ☆彡: 6 Months worth of updates!! Part 2

Okay so picking right up with Part Two of my suuuper long post of various updates! Very soon after the Pop! Georgia meetup, Jesse, Kane, Caylee and I met up at Mall of Georgia to do some more catching up! Unfortunately I lost most of my photos from this, but here are the ones I have~

In January, my friend Rayven had a birthday party! It's always so nice to se eher because she lives so far and we almost never get to hang out! We all went to Little 5 Points in Atlanta do do some shopping all day~

I dressed a little bit darker than I usually do ;v;

We mostly walked around and shopped until it got dark out ;u; Then we retired at Starbucks until we all dispersed. It was a really lovely time!

Next I'll go ahead and share my outfits from January and February! I have other outfits speckled from throughout however long I was gone, but they're so few and far in between ahaha! I don't remember the dates for most of these so I'll just post them in the order I think they're in ;v;

I felt like a magical grandma or something that day ahahaha

Around this point I fell a bit under the weather and had to miss some school. The week I finally go back, I was scheduled to go on two consecutive field trips! How neat is that? First I went with my  Oceanography class the the Georgia Aquarium, and then I went with my Art class to the High Museum of Atlanta ;v;! Both trips were so super inspiring and a really nice break from spending a bunch of time at home!

I coincidentally ran into my friend Eden while I was there! I haven't seen her for such a long time so this was a sweet little surprise ;u;

So the next day was the High Museum! The exhibit we saw was Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera, but since you're not allowed to take pictures of the main exhibits, I'll only share a little bit of the architecture of the place and something I snuck a picture of hehe

After the museum, we got to walk over to a cafeteria to get lunch ;v;. My friends and I went to a Japanese restaurant called Shout! that has a $10 all you can eat sushi lunch special! Score!!

It was soooo yummy! I wish I could eat sushi instead of lunch at school every day *w*

As we all waked back to the school buses, we ended up running into Baton Bob! It was a super perfect ending to our trip ;u;

I also have been doing a good bit of sewing recently! Mostly, It's because Momocon is coming up very soon  in early march and I've joined a Tokyo Mew Mew cosplay group! I've always wanted to try cosplaying out and I think I'm going to try my best to be a great Magical Girl cosplayer in the future ;u; I've also become mildly obsessed with catching up on all the seasons of Project Runway that I've missed which totally made me want to use up some materials I've had and get to sewing!

so I made this bralett! I really wish it was warmer outside so I could wear it ~v~

Since I was at home for a little while I ended up missing Valentines Day at school! I was so sad about it, I absolutely love going to school and seeing everyone wearing pink and handing out candies and chocolates and balloons and stuff ;u; It's a really sweet atmosphere! Last year I had such a super fun Valentine's Day so I was super sad to miss it. I ended up making chocolates again to hand out to everyone the next school day anyways though ;u;

So that's basically all that's been going on with me throughout all those long long months of absence ahaha! I really want to keep up with blogging now, and I'll be posting weekly or maybe a little more often than that from now on, so look forward to it ☆!!
