♪( ´▽｀) Birthday Girl ♪(´ε｀ )☆!!

Hey babes! 

I'm so sorry for leaving this blog to hang around without a post for a bout a month now! Life's been moving so fast, and after moving to the city and starting college it's been so hard to find time to blog through the huge life adjustment! Lots of nice stuff has been happening though ;u;! My 18th birthday just passed on September 8th, so this is going to be a quick update on that with only a couple of pictures!

I went home for my birthday to see my family and to pick up a bunch of clothes and other things I left behind when I moved into my dorm! Mostly, we all went out and ate yummy things all weekend and spent time together. It was such a nice birthday honestly! I'm really lucky to have such a sweet family.

My birthday outfit ;u;! Everything's secondhand or thirfted other than my Double Decker shoes.

This was actually from the day before my birthday hehe, but me ans my little brother went out to get reaally yummy ramen together! We also got takoyaki and gyoza ;u; mmmm delicious! 

On my actual birthday, we went out to lunch at a restaurant my parents have been living for lately, the Loving Hut, which is all vegan and totally mega delicious! They also have the best strawberry cake ever, so naturally we ordered it as birthday cake!

My lunch was so pretty! Mung dal and naan bread. It was super delicious too.

I promise I'm gonna try my very best to get back on track with blogging! I've been out and about a lot and have been having a lot of lil adventures I'd love t share, so be on the lookout!

Vacation♫ all I ever Wanted ♪(´ε｀ )

Hey babes! 

I hope your summers have been going well! I spent most of June just sitting around at home relaxing, but July ended up being loads busier. Last week I got my hair cut, but more importantly I got to go to Savannah, GA with two of my good friends, Alisha and Juliana;! I've gone with Alisha before, for spring break a couple of years ago, and it was totally just as fun the second time. I really love going there, because it ends up being a sweet cheap little get away. Historic Savannah is really beautiful and a lot of fun to explore! there are so many cute shops and art galleries and it's easy to just start walking around and end up having an adventure or discover great things! It's also the headquarters of SCAD, so there are a lot of local artists and galleries and fashionable cuties walking around. 

Here's my outfit from Wednesday! 

We arrived Tuesday night and decided to spend the night hanging around the hotels indoor pool and spa (which we spent a lot of time at!), But Wednesday morning we went out exploring ;u;.

Our first stop was a really well stocked beauty supply store! I've recently been inspired by my friends to expand my makeup collection, so I picked up these lip colors, and a few other new make up things that I've been needing. Aren't these colors so cute? I took the picture and tested em out when we stopped at McDonalds for some fries hehehe.

We shopped around a little bit and then went back to our hotel to relax in the pool and spa for most of the afternoon that day ;v;. Since our trip was only three days, I went ahead and changed before we went to Dinner ;v;,

We walked around the City Market area before dinner, and found this ultra cute art gallery! I only got to peak in through the windows, since every time we returned here no one was around! We kept missing their open hours, which was a real shame because all the art was so great! Definitely check out their Facebook page to see more! I was really excited to see a Sailor Mercury print in the window and so much more sugary sweet art around.

We went to an italian restaurant that we liked last time for dinner! The antipasto was really yummy *u*! I ate most of it on accident. whoops!

The sun was going down so this pictures darker, but I had fettuccine alfredo with clams for dinner. Talk about yummy! My stepdad and older brother are both allergic to seafood, so I almost never get to eat it. This was such a treat!

Thursday was our day to check out Tybee Island! We did go last time, but since it was spring time it was cold and windy and the sand was bent on attacking us! This beach visit was so, so much better. I've never ever been to a beach as busy as Tybee Island before! When I go with family we usually go to secluded and peaceful beaches, which are heavenly, but this had so much energy and was ridiculously fun.

Beach towns are so cute. I love being by the beach because all the houses are pastel and super adorable.

None of us wore our bathing suits, since they were still wet from soaking in the hot tub, so we just walked along the shore and got about knee deep in the water ;w;. The temperature was  so perfect~

After the beach, we went on a search for somewhere with delicious crab legs *u*! They're one of my absolute favorite treats and I definitely didn't wanna leave without getting my fill of em. We found a cute little place called the Crab Shack with lots of weird attractions, like alligator ponds and a tropical bird area! 

I totally devoured my pound of crab legs. yum yum.

After dinner, we went back to the hotel and basically ran straight for the hot tub! I could really get used to having one of those around all year! We had so much fun relaxing in the hot tub and pool before bed just about every night ;u;.

We spent Friday walking around historic Savannah again, and shopping! We found this really sweet candy shop in the City Market *u*.

We stopped by Leopold's Ice cream  at one point ;u;! I didn't get any, but Alishas mom, Juli, and Alisha did! I just had samples of everyone's flavors.

While we were walking around, this pink scooter kind of yelled my name! I was so obsessed with scooters last summer, seeing everyone in Italy zipping by on one. they're so cute! and this pink one needs me ahaha. It wouldn't be too convenient for me to drive one where I live, but I can dream! 

After that we set off on the relatively short road trip home! I seriously had a great time vacationing with my friends ;w;! It's always so nice to get away.

☆Momocon 2013☆

Hey everyone! Sorry I wasn't able to post for a few weeks ;u;! I was busy prepping for Momocon! An Atlanta anime convention in March ;w;. I've been attending since 2008, so there was no way I would miss it! I didn't make a post over con weekend since, you know, I was there enjoying myself and taking loooots of pictures for this blog post! After that I got pretty sick again, so I haven't been feeling up to making a blog post until now. I got a couple super ace pictures, though its mostly pictures of me on Saturday and Sunday ;u; Friday I hardly took any pictures at all since I didn't get dressed until after it was already dark out and stuff. Anyways lets start!

Saturday morning ~ We woke up and got dressed for a few hours and then adventured across two hotels to find the food court! We rewarded ourselves with the sweet taste of chick-fil-A. I roomed with my buddies Rayven, Kelli, and Alisha so we stuck together for most of the weekend! Coincidentally, Caylee had a room right next door to us! How insane is that? I still can't get over how lucky that was! We spent a lot of time together too ;w;!

I really loved this outfit! It's actually pretty similar to what I wore on Friday except for the main pieces and accessories, but since I really liked Fridays outfit and got like no pictures I guess it's fine ahaha. Everything is secondhand,thrifted, or from friends, except the romper im wearing underneath everything  which is from H&M and my shoes which are from Double Decker ;v;. My buttons say "RELAX" "Grunge Baby" and " I ♥ SPANK!" by the way.

After our food adventures and walking around for a while it was time for our momocon Pop!Georgia meetup ;w;! We basically just went to get food and then had a small "photoshoot" it was all very fun ;w;!

That basically sums up Saturday! 

On Sunday, I cosplayed for the first time! It's a hobby I've always wanted to get into and I really had such a blast finally participating like this! I'm definitely going to be cosplaying regularly from now on, mostly as Magical Girls ;u;! My costume is all handmade by me ;u; it was a lot of fun to make progress on! 

I was Mew Zakuro from Tokyo Mew Mew with a group ;w;! We almost had a 100% full group but our Mew Lettuce wasn't able to make it on Sunday so we were juuuust short ;w;. I'm gonna start out with pictures of me and some of my wonderful friend Beth who cosplayed Mew Mint in our group ;w;

This picture was so hard to take! We both kept bursting into laughter ;v;

Overall it was a neat con! It really got me excited about cosplay and I'm so glad that I got to see and hang out with all the buddies that I saw ;w;!

Really long time no see!! I missed you all and I'm back for good ☆彡: 6 Months worth of updates!! Part 2

Okay so picking right up with Part Two of my suuuper long post of various updates! Very soon after the Pop! Georgia meetup, Jesse, Kane, Caylee and I met up at Mall of Georgia to do some more catching up! Unfortunately I lost most of my photos from this, but here are the ones I have~

In January, my friend Rayven had a birthday party! It's always so nice to se eher because she lives so far and we almost never get to hang out! We all went to Little 5 Points in Atlanta do do some shopping all day~

We mostly walked around and shopped until it got dark out ;u; Then we retired at Starbucks until we all dispersed. It was a really lovely time!

Next I'll go ahead and share my outfits from January and February! I have other outfits speckled from throughout however long I was gone, but they're so few and far in between ahaha! I don't remember the dates for most of these so I'll just post them in the order I think they're in ;v;

I felt like a magical grandma or something that day ahahaha

Around this point I fell a bit under the weather and had to miss some school. The week I finally go back, I was scheduled to go on two consecutive field trips! How neat is that? First I went with my  Oceanography class the the Georgia Aquarium, and then I went with my Art class to the High Museum of Atlanta ;v;! Both trips were so super inspiring and a really nice break from spending a bunch of time at home!

I coincidentally ran into my friend Eden while I was there! I haven't seen her for such a long time so this was a sweet little surprise ;u;

So the next day was the High Museum! The exhibit we saw was Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera, but since you're not allowed to take pictures of the main exhibits, I'll only share a little bit of the architecture of the place and something I snuck a picture of hehe

After the museum, we got to walk over to a cafeteria to get lunch ;v;. My friends and I went to a Japanese restaurant called Shout! that has a $10 all you can eat sushi lunch special! Score!!

It was soooo yummy! I wish I could eat sushi instead of lunch at school every day *w*

As we all waked back to the school buses, we ended up running into Baton Bob! It was a super perfect ending to our trip ;u;

I also have been doing a good bit of sewing recently! Mostly, It's because Momocon is coming up very soon  in early march and I've joined a Tokyo Mew Mew cosplay group! I've always wanted to try cosplaying out and I think I'm going to try my best to be a great Magical Girl cosplayer in the future ;u; I've also become mildly obsessed with catching up on all the seasons of Project Runway that I've missed which totally made me want to use up some materials I've had and get to sewing!

so I made this bralett! I really wish it was warmer outside so I could wear it ~v~

Since I was at home for a little while I ended up missing Valentines Day at school! I was so sad about it, I absolutely love going to school and seeing everyone wearing pink and handing out candies and chocolates and balloons and stuff ;u; It's a really sweet atmosphere! Last year I had such a super fun Valentine's Day so I was super sad to miss it. I ended up making chocolates again to hand out to everyone the next school day anyways though ;u;

So that's basically all that's been going on with me throughout all those long long months of absence ahaha! I really want to keep up with blogging now, and I'll be posting weekly or maybe a little more often than that from now on, so look forward to it ☆!!
