School likes to steal my life ;A;

Hey, guys! There really hasn't been a lot to blog about lately! Even when there is, all my time is spent on homework or just de-stressing from it all xD! One really exciting thing has happened though ~!

On Saturday, we got a puppy!

My family has been wanting a dog for the past couple of years now. Because my dad is allergic to dogs and cats, we've never had one before ;u;. My stepdad is unfortunately allergic to cats (which is extremely sad because I love cats so so so much you guys xD), so we all agreed that eventually getting dog would be wonderful. But then came arguments on what breed of dog, what dog names, responsibilities  etc. etc. and we never agreed or made any progress.  As a matter of fact, we never actually agreed on a breed, but on Saturday morning, on our way home from a school-related program I had to be at in the morning, We passed by a sign that said "FREE PUPPIES"! I think as soon as we saw the sign, my mom and I freaked out and basically decided that we were getting one for sure, and that we did!

We named him Bear ;u;! Apparently hes a Beagle Terrier mix. I don't really know much about dogs, and I generally prefer cats, but I already love him like a little brother ;u;! He's probably the cutest thing ever xD!

Other than my new puppy friend, life has been a constant cycle of school, homework, internet, and sleep (not always in that order)! I've been really lazy about taking pictures lately too xD. My 16th birthday is also approaching soon, so I've got some party planning to do, essays to write, projects to start, clubs to attend, and books to read @~@!

Speaking of school, I thought I'd share a project I had to do for my fashion marketing class ;u;. Basically you're supposed to market yourself using a visual (a shoebox) decorated to your liking, with three things inside that represent you ;v;. I really like the way the box turned out, so I thought I'd share here!

I basically covered the box in things that I like/ fabrics that I had on hand :D I really like it and I'm so glad we can eep the project, because I feel the need to use this as storage for something! I've yet to figure out what xD. 
Anyways, posting will likely be slow for these next few weeks! School is really kicking my behind ;~;! I do still love blogging and reading all of your comments, so I'll still try to post as often as possible~!

Updates ~! A little bit of everything ;u; (haul, crafting, nails & outfits!)

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having great days :D! Despite it being the dreaded Monday, I feel like everything is great right now ;u;. I have to say, I really enjoy my classes at school this year, and I've been having a lot of fun lately! On Friday after school was the first meeting of this year of my schools anime club (no shame ;v; I really do like a lot of older, and some newer anime and our club is pretty tame and usually a blast!), and after the meeting a few friends and I went off to meet another friend who is getting ready to go to college. Well, she cleaned out her bedroom, got all of her things that she never wants to see again, put them in her truck and let her friends dig though it for anything that strikes their hearts desire! Here's parts of the haul that I came away with

The Cardcaptors manga is actually a misprint! There are two first chapters and no second ;v;! I'm surprised she gave it away *u*!

I'm pretty sure there was more nail polish and a few games I ended up getting as well, but I couldn't find everything when taking the picture ;u;.

After that, we ended up spending the evening hanging out and making even more plans for the weekend! What we decided on was a sleepover, so we all spent Saturday together. Mostly we baked two cakes, danced around, played catch with an orange, had a few dramatic Yu-Gi-Oh! reenactments (Okay, so that was actually only my little brother and I haha), watched movies, decided to stay up all night, and did nails~ ! A really fun girls night ;v;. I really need to get a digital camera so I can take more in progress pictures of fun times, but I do have a picture of my new nail art~! It's a bit messy due to 3 in the morning, but I like them better than the last design ;v;

I also popped the lenses out of my cheapy mint sunglasses and covered them with rhinestones and cabochons ~ I really like the result! I've always had a liking for glasses, and always wanted to wear them, but my eyesight is pretty good and I have no need to ;^;. I guess this is sort of my way of coping with the fact that I won't ever need prescription ones xD.

I sort of want to find some in other colors and make more to wear haha~

Sunday came along (I got all of three hours of sleep, from around 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and we decided to go over to H-mart to look into the cute shops around, get some SunO, and buy some snacks ;v;. After that, we went swimming for a few hours and then everyone left ;v; ~. It was a really fun weekend with some really fun people :D!

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu ~ Taking over the world?

I would like to think so!

I'm sure many of you have heard of her by now, A high-school aged fashion blogger/model who recently (just two days ago) released her first album, "Moshi Moshi Harajuku", featuring her already hit song PONPONON. Ever since PONPONPON came out, I've been seeing her everywhere! When I first heard of her through tumblr, I had seen a few of her famous hengao (funny faces) around and was excited to know she was going to be produced by Yasutaka Nakata (producer of Capsule, Perfume, Meg, and a few others). I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that a good 70% if not more of my iTunes library consists of songs he produced xD. There was a 45 second preview of the song PONPONPON released when I heard of her, and when I listened to it, I have to be honest, it didn't grab me completely. However~ maybe a week or so later, 30 seconds of the music video was posted to youtube. I have to say, the music video can grab just about anyone's attention xD. Within hours I had the silly ponponwayway dance memorized and the song was impossible to get out of my head! Not that I'm complaining about it x) ~

For those who haven't seen it before, and those who like to stop everything to watch it whenever you see it posted (I can't be the only one right??), here you go~

Definitely a lot to take in, a lot to be confused by, and a lot to love! I'd be lying to you if I said I haven't seen it at least 50 times by now xD

Anyways, this is definitely the kind of song that grows on you. After familiarizing myself with the lyrics (click here for a lots of hengao and a great translation!), I couldn't help but start to obsess ;u;. I've found it stuck in my head more and more, and so ~ I decided to go ahead and record a song cover of it for fun xD. I mean, why not? I've always wanted to do one haha. I'll warn you before you click that I'm sounding pretty derptastic at parts. But it was fun! I think I might even do more hahaha.

August 2011 Nails~

Hello everyone~! I realize it's already halfway through August, but I haven't felt up to posting them this time around ;v;. Mostly because I only changed them since my July nail design was chipping and way too grown out to still look good xD. I didn't sketch out the design of these like I usually do, instead I decided the night before school started that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep anyways and that I might as well paint them (which I didn't sleep so haha!). Anyways, here they are~

What do you think? I'm not the happiest with them, I think they're too boring! Since my birthdays coming up in September, I'm excited to design something party-ish for my nails next month!

Updates and 30 Day Lolita Challenge Days 15-18!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been away so long again @~@! School started up this past Monday and I've basically been busy getting used to my new daily routine ;u;. So far, I'm very happy with school, though I feel like I had a better schedule layout last year xD. Lets just say I'm not looking forward to having Trigonometry and Physics for 2nd and 3rd period;;;;. Anyways, other than school and the occasional hanging out with some friends after it, I've basically only been sleeping, eating, and tumbling xD which, again, makes for a boring blog! I then remembered that I have the 30 day Lolita Challenge to finish and I leave it up to times like these to finish it!

★Day 15 - A picture of your last lolita purchase★

I haven't bought any new lolita clothing in such a long time xD! I think the last thing I bought was my bodyline Soft Cream skirt, which was around Christmas! I feel due for some loli shopping ;u;

★Day 16 - Your outfit for the day★

Not wearing lolita today actually xD It's a bit too hot ;A;! I haven't worn lolita very much this summer because of the heat, but I'm hoping for cooler weather to come fast enough that I can start dressing up in petticoats and lace much more often! I also didn't take a picture of my outfit today since it isn't very different from this one ~

the only differences are that I'm wearing pastel pink tights instead of the dot tights and scrunchy socks, no bracelets, and my hair is now different ;v;. I forget how hard it is to be creative at 5:30 AM!

★Day 17 - What do you want more than anything right now?★

I'm assuming lolita related ;v;! What I really want right now is the lavender Fantasic Dolly replica skirt, so that I'll have all the main things I'll need for my AWA coordinate! I'll be twinning with my good friend Jesse and I'm so excited about it ;u;!

★Day 18 - A picture of your favorite lolita style★

Basically anything unu wears ;u;! I've always thought of her style as a cross between OTT sweet and fairy lolita, something I would like to accomplish though in a different way ;v;!

So that's that! Sorry there's not a lot of substance to my blog lately, I'll definitely be trying to remedy that soon :D!

New Haircut~ Yay for Short Hair!

Hello everyone! Sorry for not updating as often as usual again, but nothings been happening! The most exciting thing I've done lately was go to the bookstore to pick up my summer reading books (at the last minute..oops!) and somehow get out of going to the family reunion I was told I had to be at (awwww yeah!).

A few days ago, I did have thoughts of cutting my hair into a shorter style. In 2008 I cut my hair very short, and absolutely loved it! I also fell in love with lolita around the same time and resolved to grow my hair out in order to maximize styling possibility~. Well, I got tired of waiting forever for my hair to (not really) grow, so I resolved to get it cut into a short style again. My hair as it used to be was pretty boring and hard to style because of the awkward length and the grown out layers. I usually just straightened it and left it down, clipped some bows in and was off. I am now so used to that, I couldn't imagine styling my hair every day xD. Anyways, with out further ado, my new hairstyle!

School is just around the corner for me as well (it starts on the 8th! Yikes! Where did summer go?), and to tell you the truth I'm not looking forward to it xD I want to stay inside with no responsibilities hahah xD Oh well! I hope this school year will go over well!
