Hello~! Updates and Spring Break!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long! I haven't posted at all this week and I really hate that I've had to leave this blog alone for so long ;^;! I was actually on spring break this past week, and went on vacation with my family. I thought that we would have internet there, but it turned out we didn't! I did mean to make a blog post before we left but there were problems with my internet connection here and it never worked out ;^;! On the bright side though, I did have a fun time on vacation and took some pictures before we left and while I was there ;v;~!

Usually for Spring Break my family has gone to the same place to spend the break ;v;. It's a small beach town in Florida, close-ish to Panama City, but not quite there. I actually really dislike going to the beach all the time so every year I end up super bored and watching way too many movies and eating a ton of not so healthy food. It's usually like any regular break off of school, but more boring because I don't get to hang out with friends or anything. Last break, I was lucky enough to vacation with friends of mine instead, so I didn't have to go which means that this year, I was looking forward to it just a little! I wanted to share some pictures from thing's I've done recently and things I've bought and so on since I only took one picture while I was there hahaha! Since I had no internet connection anyways, I mostly just turned my phone off and went with whatever was going on. anyways on to updates and pictures and all of that ;u;~

First off, I don't think I showed you my March nails yet! I did these for Momocon earlier in the month, and they're not my favorite but I liked them ;v;.

I actually went with my mom to a nail salon before we left and got a manicure~! I almost never go to salons since I enjoy doing my own nails, so this is a fun kinda change for me ;v;. 

I got a pretty cute cover up for the beach too, and put together a beach spring break-y outfit before I left haha

Recently, I picked up reading again, after three years or so of only reading school-assigned books. Since I had a week on the beach I picked up and borrowed some reading material~ I brought a lot of old books that I loved too and ended up reading six books over the vacation! I even bought two more books while I was over there aha

that pretty much sums up my break haha. Basically I read a ton,Went on bike rides, ate seafood for the first time in a really long time, and had a great time hanging out with my family ;v;! I did really miss having internet access though ;A;!

☆30 Day Fairy Kei Challenge! Days 14-18 & Art Post!☆

Hey, everyone! I'm sorry about the weird posting schedule lately! School and other things have been pretty intense lately, and I haven't had much time for blogging at all ;A;! I don't want to leave this blog totally bare, though, so have four more days of the 30 day fairy kei challenge!

☆ Day fourteen: Do you have any hobbies that you could consider Fairy-Kei’?

I suppose fair kei hobbies would include collecting old cute 80s things or crafting? If that's so then, sure! I'm not an avid collector, sadly, so even though I claim a lot of "collections" it's usually not more than five items per "collection" of mine hahaha. I collect Care Bears and Unicorns! I would love to start collecting 80s magical girl items as well~!

I also craft, draw, and sew and love diy in general, though I'm usually either too busy or lazy to do a lot of it haha!

☆ Day fiveteen: Something you or a friend made themselves

 

I didn't make this, My friend Jesse did, but it's so perfect and cute! I love it a lot, so I wanted to share it here! I haven't done a whole lot of crafting at all lately, aside from the objects in my shop, so I don't have much of anything new to share ;u;

☆ Day sixteen: How did you dress before Fairy-Kei?

I used to dress in lolita, and other than that usually circus-inspired style!  I mostly wore combos of Black, white and pink.

I think this was the outfit I wore to see  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1! I could be wrong though hahaha.

This is a petty old circus-centric outfit! you can tell especially because my walls were still beige haha. It's from January 16th, 2010! I'm pretty sure this was an outfit for school, but I'm not sure haha.

☆ Day seventeen: Do you dress in also another style, e.g. Lolita.

Not so much anymore! I still like to look at lolita and see it on others, but It's not really a part of my fashion zone anymore, so I've decided to more or less stop wearing it all together. 

I do dress in uchuu kei whenever it suits me, though (And I swear I am working that blog post! It's just pretty hard to put together information and references for a style that doesn't really exist haha.)! My wardrobe for that is still super limited, and because of my schedule lately I haven't been able to make a whole lot of things to match the outer space aesthetic~

☆ Day eighteen: How do you dress when you go to school?

Most of my outfit shots that I have are probably from going to school! That's where I go the most often, and I don't see a big point in having a fairy kei wardrobe and a wardrobe of "school clothes", so I just wear fairy kei or uchuu kei or whatever! ☆Momocon 2012~!

Heya everyone! haha sorry about that 10 day absence again, but Momocon, a convention in Atlanta I'v been attending since 2008, really snuck up on me this year! I'd mostly been preparing for that, along with studying for midterms and taking care of a few other things, so thats why I was gone for so long. I did have a pretty fun weekend at momocon this year, though, so I was going to share some of it with you~!

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures friday or saturday, because there wasn't much on Friday and on Saturday my camera decided to totally spazz out and reject the batteries I had to use! It would only turn on sometimes, and go back and fourth between full battery and dead so I only have a few photos from when It was luckily working!

Got this super cute closet cosplay of Chibi Usa and Usagi from Sailor Moon! ;v;!

On saturday, we had a lolita meetup where we all met and took picctures before going to the food court and grabbing a bite to eat ;v;! I love taking candid pictures like this, but it seeme like one or two lolis were ready for this one hahaha

Thats actually all that my camera would let me get on Saturday ;^;!! I took lots more on sunday though~

We helped move lugage from jesses hotel room to a friends car to hold, and took a shoe shot while we were all down at the parking lot, though my skirts too poofy to really see my shoes!

Near the end of the con on Sunday, we decided to go up to the 47th floor, which was pretty scary in the glass elevator! I took a picture from the top ;v;~

While we waited to get picked up, we sat around on the 10th floor and I took this neat POV picture~

It was a pretty fun weekend! I wish my camera hadn't spazzed out quite so much on satuday though ;A;!

☆Milky Planet☆ Photoshoot!

Hey everyone~! This is a pretty busy weekend for me, so sorry I didn't have my post up earlier today! I'm gonna share some pictures from the little "photoshoot" I had for the GLW contest! Voting is still going on btw, and though I don't think I can make the top 4, I'd really appreciate a vote ;u;.

I put "potoshoot" in quotes because it was really just my friends helping me out with this, and having a lot of fun! We listened to a playlist of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu while we took photos, so a lot of the shoot was spent dancing and  generally being silly! ;v;

☆Millions of Bows Shop Grand Opening☆

Hey everyone! Guess what I finally got around to opening up? It's not too hard of a guess considering it's in the title, but my shop is finally up and running! Please go ahead and check it out!

Updates~ Outings and Outfits☆!

Hello Hello~! Sorry I broke my three day posting rule again haha! Schools been intensifying with midterms coming up, and school events I've been helping out with~! Nothing much has been going on outside of school (Except for a big! surprise I'm going to tell you all about shortly~), but a few weeks ago I did go out with my friends after school and took a few pictures, so I'll just share a little of that with you ;u;!

I don't think I took an outfit shot unfortunately, since on friday's I'm usually burnt out from the week and look like a mess hehehe. We went to an outdoor shopping area called the Avenue after school to browse and grab a treat! We went to get froyo and I completely drowned mine in mango poppers ahaha~

hehehehe we went to a toy store and my friend Alisha played with these animal dolls with interchangeable parts!  I wish we had bought it or something ahaha

Afterwards I think we went to hang out at my house, but I don't have any more pictures ;v;. I do have a LOT of outfits that have piled up from January and February though!
